I gotta 3rd this.

I have far less users to convert then a school , but the users need to
be treated as such.  I was boggled that I could not do this en-masse
from the backend anywhere.

I'd much rather tick this option in the back then add an extra 2-3
sentences to my welcome emails to them.  IN my case I will end up
going into each users account manually to make the change.

If I had to do this for more then a handful of people it would be a
deal-breaker.  As it stands right now I do not relish doing it and
will put it off as long as possible.

good to hear Google is listening.  Hopefully it can get implemented
someday.
