The unavailability of an API to enable pop and IMAP, will

cause a big headache for organization migrating large number of

users. as the technical support will be flooded by inquiries

regarding enabling pop or imap, migrating mailbox content, handling

changes in mail clients. By not providing the API, users will be

responsible to do lots of steps, starting from accepting terms,

imap (for mail box migration), then migrating their mail box

content, then enabling pop3. These complications in migrating

users, will be inconvenient to the users and will lead to an

opposition to the migration.

if google gave us more control using the API, it will help us

automate the whole process and make our life and our users' life

lot more easier. and definitely would increase the convenience and

the migration rate.

I really was expecting a more prompt response from the google the

community needs. but, i know that google won't let us down!

Regards,
Marmina
