Hi Tom,

Yes, you are right, for security reasons the API does not allow to
retrieve passwords. Because of this you are only able to synchronize
passwords one way, from Joomla to Apps, UpdateUser allows setting a
new password.
You could also advise users to change passwords manually on both
systems.
