Hi, I know, I really need to upgrade to Groups and remove all reference to the deprecated Email List functions and hopefully I will soon, depending on project priorities...
I have noticed that sometimes (I haven't seen any kind of pattern here) that when creating an Email List/Group using the .NET library CreateEmailList method I get a 1301 "EntityDoesNotExist" exception. This might not occur with CreateGroup and I don't expect this to be fixed for CreateEmailList, but if anyone else is still using the deprecated methods and gets the same problem, they might like to know they're not alone. If I log into Google as admin and search for the Email List/Group in question it does actually show up, so it's gone some way to creating it at least. However, CreateEmailList does eventually return without an exception, but it might fail a few times before it succeeds. Our software that handles the creation of groups runs hourly during the day, so it might take a few hours before our system is satisfied the group has been created. Although this isn't an immediate problem for us, otherwise we would have moved to CreateGroup already ;) Regards, David. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Apps Domain Information and Management APIs" group.
