If you want the item to show up on the German Google Product Search then you should provide the following information:
<g:item_type>Produkte</g:item_type> <g:item_language>de</g:item_language> <g:target_country>de</g:target_countr> <g:preis>...</g:preis> and some other required attributes. What error did you get when using Produkte?
