I'll try to give you everything I can... hope it helps: Error: No clue. I'm using the demo page google provides... just changed that. Have to look into it a little more to find out how error tracking works.
My xml: I'll first give you the one that works, then the one that doesn't... all that's changed is the item_type. This works: ----------------------

Das Christentum begegnet dem Islam

Islam und Christentum.

Islam und Christentum.
<g:target_country>de</g:target_country> <g:item_language>de</g:item_language> <g:item_type>product</g:item_type> <g:image_link type="url">http://www.adventistbookcenter.at/images/ product_images/thumbnail_Cover1-170119057293846f6b38aa6d0d.jpg</ g:image_link> <g:preis type="floatUnit">9.10 EUR</g:preis> <g:URL type="url">http://www.adventistbookcenter.at/index.php? target=products&product_id=31571</g:URL> <g:produktart type="text">Bücher</g:produktart> <g:payment_notes>Sie haben die Möglichkeit, per Paypal, Vorauskasse und per Nachnahme zu bezahlen.</g:payment_notes> <g:autor type="text">Hans Heinz und Daniel Heinz</g:autor>
------------------ This doesn't: --------------------

Das Christentum begegnet dem Islam

Islam und Christentum.

Islam und Christentum.
<g:target_country>de</g:target_country> <g:item_language>de</g:item_language> <g:item_type>Produkte</g:item_type> <g:image_link type="url">http://www.adventistbookcenter.at/images/ product_images/thumbnail_Cover1-170119057293846f6b38aa6d0d.jpg</ g:image_link> <g:preis type="floatUnit">9.10 EUR</g:preis> <g:URL type="url">http://www.adventistbookcenter.at/index.php? target=products&product_id=31571</g:URL> <g:produktart type="text">Bücher</g:produktart> <g:payment_notes>Sie haben die Möglichkeit, per Paypal, Vorauskasse und per Nachnahme zu bezahlen.</g:payment_notes> <g:autor type="text">Hans Heinz und Daniel Heinz</g:autor>
--------------------- The strange chars are probably because I'm using UTF-8... it's displayed correctly in google base. What surprised me is the fact that there is an expiration date 30 days away from now. This isn't there if 'abc' or something else is entered as item_type, so I concluded it was correctly recognized as a product. Thx a lot.
