Done: r5611, r5612, r5613, r5614, r5615, r5616, r5617. ES5/3 and the
cajoler are gone. Further work:
Issue 1866: We should be able to eliminate most or all of our Java code.
Issue 1865: See if Domado's string event handler support can be simplified.
Issue 1811: The workarounds for lack of Object.create(null) are also
applicable to a Chrome ES5 problem; we can remove them only if we know that
problem is sufficiently old — which it probably is.
