+1 to this plan. I like it.
Terminology:
1. Agreed. "kludge" was never a good name, but it was casually chosen at
the time because I didn't expect these records or this idea to have much
longevity ;).
2. Nothing I've thought of is better than "repair-framework". (Some are
cuter, but they are less clear.)
