ok well i have the new problem solved i need to force the connection
closed using the

.KeepAlive = False to force the connection closed.

now back to the orignal issue the 400 error return code

fiddler returns this msg

org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Element type "entry" must be followed by
either attribute specifications, ">" or "/>".

this would indicate that the xml being sent up has an error however i
am using the sample xml provided in the documentation example

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><entry
xmlns='http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom'xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005'><category
scheme='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#kind'term='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#event'></category><title
type='text'>Tennis with Beth</title><content type='text'>Meet for a
quick lesson.</content><author><name>Andy
greenbaum</name><email>[EMAIL
PROTECTED]</email></author><gd:transparencyvalue='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#event.opaque'></gd:transparency><gd:eventStatusvalue='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#event.confirmed'></gd:eventStatus><gd:where
valueString='Rolling Lawn Courts'></gd:where><gd:when
startTime='2006-08-31T15:00:00.000z'endTime='2006-08-31T17:00:00.000z'></gd:when></entry>

perhps the error is something else

thanks again for your time
