I just noticed this behavior this morning and don't know how long it's
been happening, but I know it wasn't always happening:

One of my calendars has been only sporadically available on gCal this
morning. I get the usual "One or more of your selected calendars could
not be loaded at this time. You can try to re-select the hidden
calendars in a few moments." message in the gCal web UI.

That's fine. But when I read my metafeed to get a list of my calendars,
that calendar isn't included. As far as my client program knows, that
calendar no longer exists. This makes it impossible for my client
application to tell the difference between a permanently deleted
calendar and one that's only temporarily unavailable.

The previous behavior was that the temporarily unavailable calendar
would be listed in the metafeed, but would return an HTTP 500 when I
tried to get its events. In my opinion, that's the correct behavior.
Anyone else have thoughts on this?

Regards,
Charlie
