Ryan,

I'm 99.9% sure it used to work like this. The data definitely exists,
since the web UI is using it to display checkboxes even for unavailable
calendars. I suspect someone was trying to be helpful but inadvertently
made life a little harder for sync clients by "optimizing out"
currently-available calendars. Thanks for looking into it.
