Hi, I have a question about sharing calendar data between users and groups. While I'm not a developer, I do manage the communications for several community groups (school, scouts, sports, neighborhood). The problem is, every group uses email to communicate event information, which means you have to manually enter data (with a pen) into a calendar (on our refrigerator). I'd like to simplify this and condense the various pieces of data into one place. How can I enter information (dates/times/events) in "my" google calendar and then send that specific data to someone else's calendar or a group site calendar. Now I don't mean share the whole calendar, or let someone have access to my calendar. Instead, here's an example of what I'm trying to do: I want to set the date and time for one event and then send that information to various users and/or group calendars. If I start in my google calendar and set up an outing for say a scout event, can I send the information for "just that event" to other calendars? If that's possible, how do I do that? Thank you for reading my post, I've been trying to accomplish this for a while.
