Hi all,
I am just thinking about using the Google Calendar to trigger actions
in an Java/Web based application.

The idea is, that users with Google Calendar subscribe to this
application.
With this subscription the application registers with Google Calendar
to receive events for this user.

I want to prevent to poll for the calendar entries.
I want to prevent to replicate calendar data.

Is there any possibility to integrate with Google Calendar in a way,
that my application can receive events triggered by the Calendar?
Are there any other Calendar applications out there which fit my
requirements?

Thanks for your help,
Gunnar
