I am using the Zend Framework provided here I am using SSL (as required for the PHP code to work, but not explicitly) And as far as I know, I didnt have any connection problems (I restarted the server and checked for connection availability) nor firewall blocking
But a couple of hours later, it was working again... This might have been a weird unique error, I will tell you if it happens again.
