Since the changes late last week, we're seeing newly-created recurring events losing their titles. The API call to create the event succeeds and the data returned includes the correct title, and subsequently the full feed shows the correct title for the event. But the gCal web UI shows "(No subject)" as the title of the event. We can reproduce this reliably.
