Hello Python programmers,

If you like programming in Python, and you just can't get enough of
the Google Calendar data API, then I have good news! I'm happy to
announce the release of version 1.0.2 of the open source Python client
library for Google data services - phew! It's quite a mouthful.

To try and live up to the long name, we've added a few key things
since 1.0; the most notable changes being: Blogger sample code, more
streamlined package structure, a distutils setup script for easy
installation, and support for media operations. (Trust me, you'll be
excited about the media operations when you start using the Picasa Web
Albums data API.) For a full list of changes, see the release notes
file in the project here:
http://gdata-python-client.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/RELEASE_NOTES.txt.

Sound interesting? Download the latest version here:

started!

Happy coding,
Lane
