The use case is pretty obvious to my mind. Client programs like Mozilla Sunbird have event categories/labels. We currently have a colored border around events with certain categories. If these categories are supported in Google, then that feature could actually be used. Even better would of course be if Google supports something similar, i.e bordered event boxen in the Google UI.
