I'm developing specialized event management system and would like to use the Calendar API as the basis for management and notification functions. I'm going to be interacting with folks who may not have a Gmail account to log into - nor do i want to force them to create one. Before I get too far into this I need to understand what sorts of limitations this places on how they can interact (get notifications, reminders, etc) with my calendar.
