The event starts at 5:30 PM on 16 Jan, 2008 (GMT -5:00) . That time is 10:30
PM, 16 Jan 2008 GMT and 04:00 AM, 17 Jan IST (GMT +5:30).

But perhaps you are getting at something else. I don't see how this has
anything to do with BYDAY or recurring events.
