Hi. I've encountered the "user not found" problem; here's what I've
done trying to debug getting iCal 3.0.4 (latest - whatever Apple sends
me) to sync with Google Calendars:

username: [EMAIL PROTECTED] or [EMAIL PROTECTED]
password: [redacted]
server URLs I've tried:
  https://www.google.com/calendar/dav/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/user
  https://www.google.com/calendar/dav/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/user/
  https://www.google.com/calendar/dav/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/user
  https://www.google.com/calendar/dav/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/user/

Sometimes, it appears that a calendar is created correctly; I see a
new server entry in the calendars list on the left side of my iCal
window, and "John Todd" appears as a calendar (my default calendar?
Somehow, it got my real name instead of my gmail account name.)
Sometimes, though, I get an error (indicated by a "!" on the calendar
account name) of "Calendar https://www.google.com/calendar/dav/[EMAIL
PROTECTED]/user/
could not be found.".

Even when I do seem to get some sort of sync happening, none of the
actual calendars seem to be synchronizing, and when I try to create a
new event with the "John Todd" calendar checked, I get (oddly) a semi-
expanded 'New Event' window that gets halted with an error window of
"Request Error - Calendar could not be found". It appears to be
trying to reach the server, and then choking.

Between all attempts at different URLs or usernames, I have deleted
old instances of the Google calendar account and restarted iCal.

Ideas?

JT
