The Google Map API features use of the Chart API in a script called MapIconMaker to make map-pin icons. I think that when using a two- letter text in a standard sized pin icon, the text is just a little too big, and especially in the star-topped icon, it's hard to read. I would like to tweak it to make it a little smaller and perhaps a bit lower in the round part of the pin.
The MapIconMaker uses a URL that begins: http://chart.apis.google.com/chart?cht=d&chdp=mapsapi followed by a string of parameters that is very complex and _extremely_long. I expect it is not just generating the image, but placing it in the right location on the map. My questions are: * Is there some documentation of cht=d somewhere? * If not, is there a parameter I can use to tweak text size? Thanks. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Chart API" group.
