Hi, We don't have documentation for the cht=d yet, but you can also use the feature described in http://groups.google.com/group/google-chart-api/web/chart-types-for-map-pins in the section "Map pin with text inside, scaling, and rotation". There you can control the map pin size, and also the text size.
