Free (or Adware) is not the same than open source. All us look at Google code for Open Source projects, not for free software. Really MediaCoder is great, and you can choose any license you prefer, I have nothing to say to that but respect it as it is your work. Just have to be remember that you cannot host it on Open Source sites. I would recommend you to open your source code which will benefit all the community and also will benefit the project with other developers improvements and bugfixes.
