Thanks, I'll do that.  And you're right that I didn't have js turned
on.  I turned on one and it needed another, and then it needed yet
another.  I went to another page and it needed another again.  On
obvious thing would be clearly proclaim at the top of all the pages
that js needs to be enabled across the board, and to somehow reassure
the user that Google won't allow any nefarious scripts to run on their
machine or steal data from them.  (Isn't java a pain!)

By the way, why does this page have a different format from the issue
page of your link?
