Google does offer this for disasters, e.g. see,
http://www.google.com/relief/haitiearthquake/

If you want to do more with that application, the developer
information for it is here:
http://haiticrisis.appspot.com/developers?small=yes

Having said that, this is not the right mailing list for further
discussion on that topic.  This mailing list is just for Google
Project Hosting support questions.
