I looked around the project and didn't find anything objectionable. What's the URL of the page that you think is a violation of our terms of service?
In general, it is OK for projects to include ads, donation buttons, or other ways for the project to earn money. We don't have any rule against that. There are plenty of legitimate OSS projects that earn money in various ways. And, there is a long tradition of some small open source projects making a little money to pay for minor costs like domain name registration, hosting services, etc. Google Project Hosting offers a free service that can help reduce the need for that, but we don't have any rule against it. The main things that we look for are that the source code is available and that software development activity is happening in the project. As for the issue being deleted, that's up to the project owner. You did the right thing to bring it to this mailing list if you think that the content really is in violation. But, the act of deleting that issue is not itself a violation. Thanks, jason!
