I am writing in regards to taking ownership of the following project.
http://google-gadget-heatmap.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/program_rack.xml The code was written by a former employee of my company, Motorola Mobility. This gadget is used by several teams in my company and is currently not working. We cannot make revisions to the project as we cannot get a hold of the project owner, Shawn Coumbe, since he left the company. Several employees including his ex-team members and my manager, have tried e-mailing and calling him in the hope of getting added to the project with editing rights. We have been trying to contact him for the past month with no success. The current state of this project goes against the spirit of Open Source since the gadget is currently in a non-functional state coupled with the fact that the only member of this project who can modify the code is not reachable. Please consider my request to be given ownership of this project and let me know if there is any additional information I can provide.
