It's not about reasonableness. We cannot do anything about this. We've tried, mind, you having petitioned the state department for an exemption to this rule, but the reality is that until the law changes, we can't accommodate even reasonable requests whose goal is the circumvention of these laws.
heanet.ie is welcome to sync and such with code.google.com projects. SVN and Git make this easy to do and our site is very crawlable.
