There is something called longest subsequence algorithm problem. Search the 
net. For the person saying don't post assignment here, everything on the we was 
put there by human beings not aliens or machines. If you can offer solutions or 
ideas do. Searching the web is invariably asking the people who put stuffs 
there because you don't have direct access to them.
