Google has given one facilty to users that they can REVOKE ACCESS to perticular websites. Now if that webiste trying to access user's account by that token then it will be responded as "TOKEN OUT OF SCOPE". Now if google has problem similar to yesterday (see http://groups.google.com/group/google-contacts-api/browse_thread/thread/f0eda208cdc992ba ), also gives same response.
Means in both case, there is no difference in response then how to distinguish in between two.
