Hello Jeff, Have you tried sending a request such as:
<gd:name> <gd:givenName>Jerry</gd:givenName> <gd:familyName>Seinfeld</gd:familyName> </gd:name> When updating a contact, if a previously set field is missing, it will be deleted by the server. There is no such thing as "partial" update on the Contacts API and every non-read-only fields that are returned by the server should be sent back on update unless you want to delete those.
