Hey - I just noticed this thread and wanted to let you know that BetterCloud has released a new product that will replace SherpaTools and solves the shared contacts issue. With FlashPanel, you can maintain a global address list of shared contacts throughout your entire organization.
There are a number of other features inside FlashPanel that I think you'll find make Google Apps for Business even better, like custom email signatures and email monitoring.
