Hi Can I developp a plugin or a gadget that : - deactivate the indexing of all folders on the host (like adding all hard drives to the "Do not search the following files, folders or web sites" options in the preferences of Google Desktop) - Add a specified folder to the search, and query GDS to index it. - Save the indexing data in a human readable format (xml, csv, ...) - delete the indexing data of the added folder?
I find TweakGDS, it let me add a folder to the indexing... I tried to uncheck the "Enable Content Indexing" option in the preferences, the result is that nothing is indexed even added folders... The result I want is that GDS indexes and searches nothing but a folder (or a drive, network drive) that the user of the plugin (gadget) select.
