Oh, this is weird. When I looked at the two urls yesterday (on domain1 and on domain2, what seemed to be the docid in domain2 was actually something like <docid for domain1><postfix> (that is, a few more characters after the docid in domain1, and before the '&hl=en' string. However, when I look at the two urls today, they DO in fact seem to have the same docid, as you explained... Not sure what is going on here. Could there be any timing issues involved?
