I am new to making Gadgets and I am still trying to figure out how
things work and all. I have noticed that after I submitted a Gadget
then later changed its metadata, like directory_title and description,
that the new changes don't show up in the Gadget directory after
several days or even weeks. But if I add the nocache=1 parameter it
does show up. Is this proper behaviour or a bug? Either way it would
be great if we could tweak the directory_title and description to see
what gets a better ranking in the directory. I have figured out that
its not all about the number of users as far as rankings go. As you
would expect the title and description are keys to ranking for your
keywords. It sucks that you get one shot with the way it is currently
and then your stuck with it.

Another related cache problem is that when I submitted my Author
picture it wasn't the right dimensions so it just showed up as a gray
box. Once I noticed this I uploaded a new picture with the same exact
file name and proper dimensions to overwrite the bad one but yet all I
can still see is the ugly gray picture. Is there a way that I or
someone at Google could fix this? You can see what I mean here:
http://www.google.com/ig/directory?type=authors&[EMAIL PROTECTED] .

Will Google ever offer a way for us to use AdWords directly within a
Gadget?
Thank You,
Tony
