When you want to customize your iGoogle homepage with your own code, I
don't understand why the hell are you always forced to submit the
gadget you make, publically?

Why isn't there a type of gadget template that is just Blank and reads
HTML/JS/etc. code?
If I want to have a gadget window on my homepage that has a turd-
shaped button with hover CSS options and maybe the code for displaying
the webster's online dictionary tool on your website, I have to go
through a hell of a lot of trouble.

Why can't I just write this http://www.websters-online-dictionary.org/searchbox/
into a text gadget between <HTML> tags and have it work as a
completely private homepage customization? What does Google have to
lose? It's your own personal account's page. For example, DeviantArt
and 3dm3 allow you to write as much of your own code as you want..
