If you are working on a Google Desktop Sidebar gadget, you will get
better assistance on this other group:
http://groups.google.com/group/Google-Desktop-Developer
as the current group is focused on iGoogle gadgets.

If you were asking if you could access the Google Desktop Search data
through an API available to iGoogle gadgets, no, I do not think this
is available.
