Hi Swapan,

I'd just add that the data you're looking for is confined to the
user's PC, and thus is much more in the realm of a Desktop gadget. The
iGoogle gadgets discussed in this group are pure web applications,
just contained in a small iframe, and as such are well separated from
desktop data.

If there was an access point, it would be through the browser that
displays the page containing the gadget, not through the iGoogle
gadget API itself. You could search for browser add-ons containing
this functionality, but I can't say I've ever heard of one.
