I had a look at the issue tracker. I found an issue matching exactly what we are talking about: http://code.google.com/p/igoogle-legacy/issues/detail?id=628 If you are affected, please "Star" this issue, and add a note to list a few gadgets which are impacted.
Hopefully, it will help getting a fast resolution on this issue.
