Rob,

First, let me thank you for your prompt reply and tenacity.

I was able to finally to delete the unusable gadgets using Firefox
today. Not sure why they were locked for the 48 hours. If you would
like me to try to recreate the situation I will, however since it's
now working I'd rather leave Chrome closed until the bug is addressed
and not tempt fate.

If it helps to know, I initially tried creating my gadget in Chrome. I
couldn't get it to work and deleted it successfully. Later, in Firefox
(I currently swap between browsers), I gave it another stab and
created a working gadget. Later still I tried editing it in Chrome,
which is when the trouble began (I wasn't aware of Chrome's issue with
GGE.) The gadget broke. Eventually I tried creating copies out of
frustration since my code looked right, but none of them worked. Then
I tried deleting the gadgets from Chrome but was unsuccessful. I
switched to Firefox and received the same 'failure to delete' error.

This morning it works (using Firefox) and I haven't cleared my browser
cache or rebooted the laptop.

Hope that's descriptive enough. If you hadn't responded I wouldn't
have assumed GGE was fatally flawed and wouldn't be returning. Thank
you again for your help.

Scott
