Thanks Veronica I tried changing to Chrome. I kind of got it to preview briefly but then lost it again. Never got as far as publishing it.
It may be something to do with the xml header. The Editor kept messing with my space after the <?xml . I've seen this mentioned on this forum. I'm surprised that the Gadget Editor is so buggy.
