Yes... a Gadget-IDE would be really nice. Unfortunatly some gadgets
only work in the live iGoogle container. (OAuth Proxy)

So there is very little alternative to debugging your gadget on the
live server.

But at least there is the developer gadget which lets you turn off
caching.
