Hey there,

After a little bit of searching I quickly felt like there is way too
much information to go through in a timely manner, I feel that my
question would better be asked directly so as to help others in my
same position.

I run a wordpress blog, http://iluvjohn.com/
I created a PHP file here: /inc/php/48lawspower.php
I use the following XML to pull the http://iluvjohn.com/inc/php/48lawspower.php
and display it inside of the app:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
<Module>
<ModulePrefs
 title="48 Laws of Power"
 title_url="http://iluvjohn.com/2010/05/25/48-laws-of-power/";
 height="350"
 width="468"
 author="John"
 author_email="[email protected]"
 description="48 Laws of Power"
 thumbnail="http://www.iluvjohn.com/inc/images/40lawspowerthumb.png";
 screenshot="http://www.iluvjohn.com/inc/images/
40lawspowerscreen.png" />

<Content type="url" href="http://www.iluvjohn.com/inc/php/
48lawspower.php" />
</Module>

I run Windows XP Pro, Mozilla Firefox 3.6.3.

When I view the iGoogle Gadget via google.com/ig I get my wordpress
themed error404 page. I right clicked on the gadget and opened the
page in a new tab, and I still get the error, but I noticed the URL
is:

http://iluvjohn.com/inc/php/48lawspower.php?lang=en&country=us&.lang=en&.country=us&synd=ig&mid=116&ifpctok=305717371472664196&exp_rpc_js=1&exp_track_js=1&exp_ids=17259&parent=http://www.google.com&libs=DoXS5gxhejE/lib/liberror_tracker.js,mWuUtp2ZV1Y/lib/librpc.js,yfyPZOYunmM/lib/libcore.js&view=home&is_signedin=1

If I remove the http://www.google.com from the url the page starts
working fine.

I have tried a number of things to figure out what is triggering this
issue but I believe it to be the http:// part.

How can I remove this parent=http://www.google.com from being sent in
the $_GET / URL, or alternative to make the page display properly? (I
am not good with the .htaccess related stuff but I fear that may be
required.)

It is worth noting that when I first made this little app it gave the
404 error page but then started working after being up for an hour or
2, then I made a change to the XML by adding the title_url and then I
got the 404 page again after an hour.

Thanks in advance!
