I don't see a way to change the parent url parameter from your gadget spec right now and it looks like parent is a parameter which means something to Wordpress. If changing it via .htaccess is an option then that may work but it could cause trouble with the way Wordpress works down the road, so be specific to only catch the case where parent has google.com.
