I logged in to report the same issue and saw this post. We have the same issue with almost all of our gadgets. The drop is drastic, around 80-90% both in unique daily users and pageviews (based on dashboard). The sharp drop started on July 9th for us. No changes in installations/removals chart which seems to be healthy.
We also use Google Analytics on our gadgets and the story is a little bit different there: analytics reports show about a 70% drop around July 22nd in # of visits, but this is met by about 4 times increase in pages/visit starting on the same date. consequently, no material change in total pageviews per analytics. Quite strange, sounds like there was a change again in the system. Would be great to see if everyone was having the same issue?
