I'm having the same type of problem updating the gadgets. It is weird because I haven't changed anything code wise when the update problem started happening.
Due to this problem, I changed the code in order to force a refresh of my remote content using: http://myremoteurl/&nocache=1000 using the gadgets.io.makeRequest To make sure everything was ok I also removed any caching that I had on my server. However the problem persist in Chrome! Firefox and IE seems to be doing ok. Anybody knows what could be happening?
