Thank you for the response bikerdyke. I noticed when viewing my gadget on iGoogle the URL of my gadget includes the query string parameter "gadgetViewer". Is this the ID of the viewer?
One method I have been investigating (seems to be working so far) is have the gadget be almost empty and simply request the data from the server. In this request I can include the gadgetViewer parameter. If the gadgetViewer value is valid the server returns the gadget, if the gadgetViewer changes the server returns nothing. Does this make sense? Is my interpretation of the gadgetViewer parameter correct? (it is essentially a user ID?) Thanks again for your help! Madison First time the gadget is loaded grab the gadgetViewer from Window.location and report it to the server.
