Hi guys, I have an idea for a gadget. You know the feeling that you don't want to have a link to a certain website, nor the entire site, but just this one small block of information that's always in the same location anyway? For instance, my geographical location is A and my friend is in B, in a different timezone. Now all clocks and weather forecasts and what not that I can put on *my* iGoogle are for my own timezone, whilst there are lots of websites and things available that host intell on the other timezone. So my idea is to have a gadget that gives you the ability to go to a website, select a rectangle of intell and put only that rectangle (which should renew every now and then) on your iGoogle. So basically, you're iGoogle will be like a clicked link, but only a small window of the site there for you permanently. Does this make any sense in the first place? Is it out there yet? If not, why not??? Might have to do with sensoring, as you could broadcast a small rectangle of adverse information? - Jmd.
