Thanks Estiven, but you didn't really get the details of my problem:

   - Perhaps it is not stated in the xml file as [category="category"]
   - It is. category="lifestyle"
   - just because it is gone from your dashboard it doesnt mean it is gone
   from the directory
   - I never said it was gone from the dashboard. Its in the dashboard and
it's in the directory IF you search but not browse.
   - the remaining users will still have the gadget and will be able to
   use it without problems
   - True, but not having it in the directory means that new people don't
find it which is more of a problem than you might thing. There is a lot
of
churn with Gadgets and net result has been 400,000 fewer installs over
      time.
   - Sometimes there is a delay servers which would explain why your
   gadget's stats changed
   - This has been going on for almost a year so I doubt it's server delay
at this point. It's a bug.
   - A lot of spam gadgets are messing up the order, i think google should
remove those gadgets or ban the "developers" of those gadgets.
   - Also true, but it doesn't explain why spam gadgets show up when
browsing/sorting and others, like ours, do not.
