I'd like to be able to harness the Google Alerts feed to automatically make news and information available for team members working on a project.
The general idea is to have alerts delivered as an RSS feed in a blog-like format to a shared private collaborative space for my team. For example, let's say I am working with a distributed team to develop a mobile app for bird watching. I would like to be able to set Google Alerts for *bird watching*, *mobile apps*, *bird watching group*s, *bird watching maps, bird watching equipment,* etc....and to automatically share those results with others as a news feed within our shared private project space. People could login to the the project space, collaborate on things and also read topical news that in some way pertains to our mobile bird watching app. Is there anyway to effectively do something like this using Google Alerts or some open source means to achieve the same ends? Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "iGoogle Developer Forum" group.
